This rustic wooden heart planter has us head over heels in love. The small opening on the top is perfect for planting a vast array of succulents and cacti for an eye catching display.
As with any container like this one, the trick is to make sure your plants are tucked in tight, so they don't topple out or lean. We also like to group them together without any open space in between. If you can see the soil, better find another succulent to fill that space!
For our cacti we use metal tongs to avoid being poked. We also find it super handy to have a soft paintbrush nearby, to gently brush off any lose dirt on the succulents or cacti and give the finished planter a nice clean look.
