Top 10 Calathea
There are about 60 different types of Calathea plants (from the family Marantaceae) and they are all gorgeous! We love to carry these beautiful tropicals—they light up our indoor plant area at the garden centre and are ready to be adopted in a good home. Check out our top 10 varieties below:

Ornata Calathea
With the light pink lines accenting its leaves, along with the purple underside of each leaf, this calathea truly stuns!
Beauty Star Calathea
Similar to the Ornate Calathea, the beauty star features two tones leave with white variegated lines. The leaves are longer than the Ornate Calatea, and the plant is often bushier.

Roseopicta Calathea
Purple under-sided leaves, and a pretty round pattern on each one, makes this plant a delicate-looking choice. Big, round leaves add a showy touch.
Freddie Calathea
A classic calathea, this tropical plant features dark and light patterns on the leaves. With high-contrast in the colouring, we love the drama this plant brings to the home.

Lancifolia Calathea
Dark edges and veins mark this calathea as a special addition to your collection. Long leaves fold upwards at night.
Orbifolia Calathea
Super wide leaves, that curl under at the ends, this bold calathea features bright green colourful with large pale vein designs. These leaves can grow very large and this plant is best suited for a larger space.

Rosey Calathea
There is no more colourful calathea than the Rosey! With bright magenta leaves, framed by dark green, we think this variety is tops.
Rufibarba Calathea
Different than it's cousins, the Rufibarba has long, thin leaves with a beautiful ruffle! Tall and gorgeous, this calathea fits great on a desk or in a corner.

Magic Star Calathea
Another calathea with long and thin leaves, this variety features a lovely white variegation creating beautiful patterns.
Misto Calathea
Lush and bold, this calathea has bright and wide leaves that catch the sun light and really like to show off!
