We all love succulents and, lucky for us, it's easy to incorporate them into your holiday displays like this rustic succulent planter with glittering ornaments.

For this design we used a rustic wooden rectangular planter box, filling it with soil before planting. You can use your own rustic planters, boxes, baskets or pots for the same effect. Collect your favourite succulent plants, choosing a variety of sizes and shapes for a more diverse look. As well, sort through your ornaments for some shiny accents that you can place in your design afterwards, to catch the light and shine all Christmas season.

Start with the larger succulents plants, then surround them with the smaller sized specimens. We covered the soil with white pebbles to create a "just snowed" look and tie into the white and gold theme. You can match your accent colours to your holiday home this year!
