Our Holiday Drink Favourites

There’s no doubt about it, Christmas is the season for gathering with your friends and family! It’s the time when we love to have an intimate evening with friends, or maybe the whole family clan over for dinner. Delicious appetizers, rich desserts and savoury meals abound. To celebrate the season we’re sharing our favourite holiday drink recipes with you this year. Perfect for sipping around a cozy fireplace after the kids have gone to bed, or during a friendly visit after lunch. Try these out as non-alcoholic drinks with a quick recipe alteration as well!

Jingle Juice

  • whipped vodka
  • pink champagne
  • 2L cherry 7-Up
  • cranberries
  • ice

Combine vodka, champagne and 7-Up. Stir. Top with cranberries and ice.

Holiday Sangria

  • 1 bottle white wine
  • 1/2-1 bottle sparkling apple cider or apple juice
  • 2 clementines
  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • 1 Gala apple
  • 1-2 cups cranberries

Combine wine and cider in a pitcher, add chopped apples, clementines and cranberries. Stir well and chill until serving.

The Poinsettia

  • 1/2 oz vodka
  • 1/2 oz cranberry juice
  • 2 oz prosecco

Serve in a champagne glass and garnish with a lemon twist and fresh cranberries.

Holiday Moscow Mule

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz pomegranate juice
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ginger beer
  • sprig of rosemary

Stir together vodka, juices, pomegranate seeds honey and ice. Top off with ginger beer and rosemary.

Winter Wonderland Martini

  • 1.5 oz vodka
  • .75 oz peppermint schnapps
  • .75 oz white chocolate liqueur 
  • mini candy cane
  • red sugar

Mix and chill ingredients. Pour into a red sugar-rimmed martini glass. Garnish with candy cane on the rim.

Eggnog Amaretto Cocktail

  • 8 oz eggnog
  • 1 oz amaretto
  • ice
  • nutmeg

Combine eggnog and amaretto, pour over ice. Spinkle with nutmeg.
