NATURAL DECOR + SPARKLE
Christmas in the kitchen
The Christmas kitchen is as much about the joys of holiday food as the eye-catching displays of red and green. The smell of cinnamon and vanilla, a light dusting of flour on the counter, and the hustle of Christmas dinner with all the fixings.
Keeping the kitchen functional through the holidays is a high priority—decorations can't get in the way of gingerbread cookies and spiced cider! With this holiday kitchen decor {location courtesy of Shinder Kaur Johal} we try for the best of both worlds.

Fresh & Festive
From fresh evergreen boughs to freshly baked bread—this Christmas kitchen is infused with seasonal delights. Hanging above the copper pots and pans, draped cedar boughs add a natural winter charm without too much fuss. Complimentary evergreens are tucked around the kitchen out-of-the-way of the busy spaces that have to be kept clear.
A cheerful red and white garland reminds us that less is more. Just a few of our favourite ornaments sprinkled around the kitchen to savour for the season. And if there are useful items that can be swapped out for the holidays (like this striped dog bed) then so much the better!
Spice Things Up
Christmas memories are tucked into every corner of the kitchen and it doesn't take much to relive simple pleasures. A sprig of red berries and a mini Christmas tree by the stove reminds us of the season as we simmer the spices.
Pots can be filled for the holiday with pine boughs or your favourite seasonal plants. We love orchids for their longevity and sophistication, and red amaryllis never cease to astound with giant trumpets of colour.
All in the Details
From the seasonal-scented hand soap (we love Frasier Fir) to the mistletoe and berries—everything comes together to accent your Christmas kitchen. Welcome the season to the heart of your home and enjoy your soon-to-be cherished memories this year!
